WebMo 2 Tablet-small.png

Objective

Welcome to "Introduction to WebMo". This WebMo sheet explains how to use WebMo. Next step: open this project.

Project description

This WebMo sheet explains how to use WebMo. We hope this will help you in filling out your own WebMo really soon. You will learn how to:

  1. Fill out the project sheet (including a project description like this one): edit and save
  2. Go to the Logframe tab and add objective indicator, outcomes, outcomes indicator, outputs, output indicators and activities

For each field that you are suppose to fill in, we will give you an example. As you have your log-frame ready at hand, it will be very easy for you! Most of it is self-explanatory, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to consult our support pages. Next step: click on edit in the right corner and/or click on the tabs "Progress", "Logframe" etc. If you prefer, you can also read an overview here or watch this introduction video (coming soon).

Have fun!

Risks and assumptions

Description of risks (and assumptions)

You can note here your risks that you have identified for your project. Furthermore, you can monitor whether or not there is a need for action.

  • A person might not know how to fill in a WebMo. Others have log-frame or resultsmodels that are unique and do not fit into the reporting structures provided from their donors.
  • You have the impression that monitoring is a task that you only do at the end of the year to comply with your donors’ wishes. And then everything gets really hectic, because not all the information is in one place, some people who have the information have already gone on vacation and you don’t know how to get the report done by the deadline.

Need for action? Yes

Action to be taken

Here you display whether or not there is a need for action (Yes, No or Unsure). If, yes, you can describe what type of action you may need to take, e.g. we need to identify potential customers.

Project progress based on objective indicator progress

Project progress based on qualitative assessment

Current progress description

The second tab gives you an overview of the progress, which is mainly filled out automatically with the entries you made in the other tab. Only the qualitative assessment needs to be done manually: This space allows you to give a description of your current progress. As you go along your project, you can adjust that number to up to 100%. As we have only started recently with this project, the progress is still only 10%.

Outcome: OC1 Outcome Number One

Here you list all your outcomes, starting with the first one. Afterwards you can set the respective outcome indicators by clicking on "add" on the right side.

Outcome: OC2 Outcome Number Two

Depending on how many outcomes you have listed in your log-frame, you can easily create them in your WebMo.

Output: OP01 Output Number One

Choose a Reference ID that makes sense. Usually the reference ID is an alpha-numerical code e.g., OS 3.1. It can be used to uniquely identify and structure your logframe elements. It determines the order of display in the logframe.
