Project: Health Coordination Platform (HCP)

Africa-1054855 1280.jpg

Objective

NGOs believe that the basic purpose of development is to enhance people’s choices and to create an enabling environment for people to enjoy long, healthy and creative lives.

Project description

The Government from time to time organises consultative meetings with the health sector partners. However, on account of the sheer numbers of the INGOs in the country, it has not been possible to involve all of them in these consultations. The platform is seen as a solution to this problem and seeks to become a point for sharing information on health sector developments and to formalise NGO representation in taskforces, workgroups and consultation forums involving government, donors and NGOS.
